Yulia Goff, CSW
After a long career in higher education and nonprofit management, I decided to pursue being a clinical therapist. Both in my personal and professional life, I have always been deeply invested in creating equitable opportunities including mental health for all members of my community, and resilience has been the central theme in these pursuits. In many ways, my counseling work has primarily been about helping people discover and tap into their own unique strengths.

As an immigrant from Ukraine and as a single parent, I have had to develop and rely on my own reserves and networks of resilience, as well. Counseling has been an important part of that journey. I believe that we all have an incredible capacity for resilience–and that we are stronger together.
I am Gottman trained level 1 & 2 and sincerely enjoy working with couples. I am also a trauma-informed therapist trained in EMDR. I have worked extensively with women, military veterans, youth, young adults, and immigrants. I have discovered that everyone’s life path has low points and difficult moments, but they do not define us. As a therapist, I am a caring collaborator invested in my clients' success, and I am truly excited to work with you.

On my off hours, I enjoy nature, art (especially theater), books, cooking, and time with family and friends.
