Tara Ottenstein, CSW
I am passionate about helping individuals learn to process and cope with both trauma and daily life stress. I believe that in order to be an effective therapist I need to provide a safe and knowledgeable environment for my clients. I enjoy being able to help others understand and communicate with their loved ones more effectively.
I have been working with children, teens and families in various therapeutic settings for over 6 years. I specialize in working with children and youth in managing the stresses of young life. I also enjoy working with women and the difficulties that come with mental health. I specialize in areas such as anxiety, depression, post partum, self esteem, addiction, navigating blended families, children, neurodiversity and divorce, and stress. I also specialize in working with family relationships, specifically helping mend the relationship between parents and children.
I hope to help individuals and families feel more at peace with themselves throughout the therapeutic journey. I have training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Family Systems work, Mindfulness, and other evidence-based therapies.
