Francesca Splattstoesser, ACMHC

I believe that feeling connected and safe are the first steps toward meaningful change. In my practice, I strive to provide a non-judgmental and supportive environment where individuals can explore things with freedom, develop a deeper understanding and love for themselves and find ways to live their lives in the direction of their chosen values, thus honoring their genuine self.

I enjoy working with teenagers and adults who experience a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, trauma, grief, life transitions, chronic shame, and issues related to racial and ethnic identity, among others.

My clinical approach is rooted in person-centered and trauma-informed care. I often incorporate other modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to best address my clients’ needs. Native to Peru, I’m a bilingual clinician and offer services in English and Spanish.

One of my goals in therapy is to honor the complexity and worldview of every person. I’m passionate about equity, diversity, and inclusion. I’m aware of the impact that historical and societal contexts have on mental health and I strive to practice with cultural sensitivity. Whether this is your first experience with a therapist or part of a long journey, I am here to meet you where you are and support you on your healing journey.
