Raylene Fossum, LCMHC
Helping others find healing has always been a passion of mine. I have worked in a variety of mental health settings working primarily with teens, young adults, women and all marginalized groups. I’m strongly committed to helping individuals find relief from life’s challenges by providing a safe, supportive and caring environment.
In working with my clients, I specialize in complex trauma, anxiety and depression, parenting challenges, self-worth, life transitions and working with the LGBTQIA+ communities.
My therapeutic approach is offering support and guidance through the therapeutic process, and helping my clients find their inner strength and confidence. I use a collaborative, strengths-based approach focusing on aspects of trauma-informed interventions, EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and other evidence-based modalities, while taking into careful consideration the importance of cultural concerns and practices.
I believe we all have the potential to make changes to better ourselves and our lives. As a therapist, I will strive to provide guidance, respect and understanding in helping my clients work through their individual life challenges.
