Couples Therapy

Reconnect, communicate, and rebuild trust at your own pace.

Somewhere between the schedules, the stress, and the same argument on repeat, the two of you may have started to feel more like teammates managing a household than partners. Or maybe something happened that shook your trust. Reaching out together takes courage, and it is a strong step toward the relationship you want.

Our couples therapy gives you both a calm, structured place to be heard, understand each other’s experience, and practice new ways of connecting. Your therapy is tailored to your relationship, never a formula.

What to Expect

After a free consultation, we match you with a therapist who fits you both. Early sessions focus on understanding your story, your strengths, and what each of you hopes for. From there, you will work on the patterns that keep you stuck and practice new skills together, in session and at home.

Your therapist may draw on attachment-based therapy and other evidence-based approaches, always chosen to fit the two of you. Sessions are not about deciding who is right. They are about helping you understand each other better.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do both of us have to attend?

Couples therapy works best when both partners participate. If your partner is hesitant, a free consultation can be a gentle way to answer their questions before committing.

Can we come if we are not sure about the future of our relationship?

Yes. Many couples come in uncertain. Your therapist will not take sides or push you toward a particular outcome. The goal is clarity and understanding, whatever direction you choose.

How many sessions will we need?

[CONFIRM SESSION LENGTH AND CADENCE] Every couple is different. Your therapist will talk with you about your goals and check in regularly about how things are going.

Is there an option for more focused time?

Yes. Couples intensives offer extended 90 or 120-minute sessions for partners who want deeper, uninterrupted work. Learn more about couples intensives.
