Service Description

Through guided exercises, mindfulness practices, art-based activities and group discussion, participants will learn tools to manage stress, quiet self-criticism, build emotional resilience, and navigate difficult emotions with greater compassion. This group is led by our experienced therapists Mindi Haddock, LCSW and Bridget Goode, CSW offering a supportive space for individuals wanting to increase self-awareness, improve emotional well-being, and cultivate more balance and connection in their daily lives. This 6 week group blends mindfulness, self-compassion and simple creative art activities to help you reduce self-criticism and build emotional resilience. Cost: $35 per workshop or $200 for full series discount Where: 1838 N 1075 W, Suite 100, Farmington, UT 84025 When: Monday evenings from 6:30 pm-8:00 pm Focused Topics: September 21: Welcome and Introduction to the course- get to know the group, explore what self-compassion is and set the foundation for the weeks ahead. September 28: Mindfulness & Self Compassion- learn how mindfulness helps you respond to yourself with greater kindness and awareness. October 5: The Nervous System & Self-Compassion- Understand how your nervous system influences your emotions and how self-compassion can help regulate stress. October 12: Self-Compassion & Shame- explore how self-compassion can soften shame and support healing and self-acceptance. October 19 : Self-Compassion & Anger- discover how self-compassion can help you understand and respond to anger in healthier ways. October 26: Reflection & Moving Forward- celebrate your growth, reflect on what you've learned and create a plan to continue your self-compassion practice.
