I want to help you feel excited about your relationships and your life again. Life and relationships can be painful and difficult to navigate - often because of past or recent experiences. Therapy can help you to identify the source of your pain or conflicts in your relationships so that you can create the life you want to live again. I believe in each individual person's innate ability to heal themselves, and appreciate the role I get to play in watching people's lives improve and get better through that healing.

I am passionate about EMDR therapy because it assists our brains to do what they were designed to do - heal and continually grow and progress. I love being able to participate in watching people heal areas of their past and present where they feel stuck and then watch them continue to grow and thrive. EMDR therapy is designed to help identify and reprocess experiences from the past which we have repeated reactions to in our present lives. Through EMDR you will learn to respond instead of react in relationships and in difficult situations you face.

In addition to EMDR therapy, I work with couples using Emotional Focused Therapy approach to help them better understand cycles in behavior that lead to challenging emotions and conflict.  I also use DBT and Seeking Safety therapy models to provide coping skills to help those people I work with to manage stress and other difficult emotions more effectively.
